Job Summary
To perform management of samples for stability study testing, in support of product shelf life and product labeling, according to pre-determined stability study protocols. To also be responsible for laboratory administration and sample preparation tasks through collaboration with Stability Scientists.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Working within a controlled ISO13485 and ISO9001 laboratory quality system in accordance with GLP/GMP requirements.
Support the collation and retrieval of stability data for stability/technical reports.
Assist in the storage and retrieval of stability samples and assist with the continual functioning of the Stability Suite to comply with ICH Stability Study Guidelines.
Transport via vehicle and organise stability samples across multiple storage conditions over two local sites (closely neighboured facilities).
Perform both planned and ad-hoc stability sample set-down, pull requests, and support laboratory tasks as and when required.
Assist in the T&I monitoring program by completing daily/monthly checks on laboratory equipment, including calibration and maintenance of equipment in accordance with calibration schedules.
Maintenance, calibration, documentation, and updating quality records for the Stability Laboratory and Stability Suite.
General laboratory administration, housekeeping, and upkeep tasks for the Stability Laboratory and Stability Suite. This may include reagent/chemical preparation.
All other necessary tasks, as required by the laboratory manager.
Liaise with external vendors via telephone and when on-site and arrange maintenance, service, and calibration contracts.
About You
Ability to react and respond positively to changes in priority and workload.
Competent in placing and retrieving stability samples in accordance with the relevant site procedures
Basic experience in the utilisation of computerised systems to manage data and information that assist in the efficient operation of the Stability Suite and testing functions.
Disciplined in adhering to group objectives.
A good team player, proactive, and recognizes opportunities for improvement.
A full UK Driving License to allow the use of Company Fleet Vehicle (for the transport of stability samples between Deeside facilities).
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
Working Conditions
There may be opportunities to attend external training courses which may involve daytime return travel or an overnight stay.
