Position Overview:
This position will report to the PSC Global Process Owner and lead the Regional PSC team in the planning, management and delivery of in scope procurement processes.
Key attributes of this role include:
• Experience in a procurement shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units,
• Experience working for a Manufacturing company,
• Deep understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms,
• Excellent analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems,
• Well-developed management and leadership skills,
• Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel and matrix structure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate and drive knowledge transfer activities for the region in-scope during Transition,
• Manage Procurement teams. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced. Hold regular meetings, coach and mentor team, recognize key employees,
• Be a Subject Matter Expert for Indirect Procurement related topics,
• Support migration of Indirect Procurement processes from centralized APAC locations to Suzhou,
• Ensure proper processing of PR/PO’s. Maintain communication with vendors and stakeholders,
• Ensure compliance with audit, tax and other requirements of the local markets or the TE company,
• Coordinate all procurement activities and reporting,
• Coordinate with local BU owners, Function representatives or other Procurement team members to identify and address any unresolved issues in a timely manner,
• Develop and maintain scorecards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to manage the performance of the department as per Global Governance Model,
• Innovate through process optimization and automation,
• Appropriately manage and escalate issues,
• Perform regular performance evaluations of staff members,
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives within the function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine. Form strong collaborative relationship with Global Process Owners,
• Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes,
• Ensure fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), continuously improving on performance benchmarks,
• Proactively monitor and operate a robust internal control environment,
• Build strong relationship with key stakeholders,
• Travel to designed locations for Transition period.
Qualifications
• Strong SME Experience in Indirect Procurement (7+ years)
• Previous team leader or team management experience in shared service environment
• International exposure
• Proficient in MS office; advanced Excel, Power point and other relevant tools for the function
• SAP PR2, S/4
• Excellent communication skills
• Chinese (mother language) + Very good English language skills in speech and writing
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
