Role Summary
The Market Research Manager completes, oversees and/or assists with projects which vary in complexity, scope, timing and deliverables as agreed to by the project stakeholders and Leadership. In order to effectively manage these projects, the individual must have a background in market research, competitive intelligence and insights generation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Successful support and/or initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of multiple market research and competitive intelligence projects.
- Successful partnership with Director of Insights and his/her team to understand business case, project criteria and deliverables.
- Collaborate with core team and vendors to support project success, identify risk and develop plans to resolve/mitigate potential issues.
- Manage projects, timing and priorities with a holistic approach to ensure project workstreams are not siloed.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Create status reports where necessary and maintain project directory.
- Present key details and/or potential risks regarding the project to stakeholders when necessary
Education and Skills
- B.S. Business Administration, Bachelors in Market Research, Project Management or related field.
- 3+ Years accumulated experience managing market research and competitive intelligence projects.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred
- Comfortable with creating processes from scratch.
- Ability to effectively leverage Microsoft suite to for collecting insights and communicating information.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work effectively under own initiative.
- Ability to balance competing priorities by applying solid time and task management skills.
- Ability to be strategic while breaking down large, complex, and sometimes ambiguous goals into manageable pieces.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Required Technical Skills:
- Microsoft PowerPoint (Proficient)
- Microsoft project, planner and other project management software (Proficient)
- An ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

- This role is Remote with 10% travel
