This is a great opportunity to join our team that is seeking a like-minded person to expand our Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing and modeling team.
What you will be doing...
As a member of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) team this person will support the RF design, testing, and characterization of high speed TE Connectivity products. The right candidate will participate on projects managing the process, procedures, and equipment associated with EMI/EMC testing. This person will also perform modeling and simulation of product performance using ANSYS (HFSS).
As an RF Engineer, EMI Testing, a typical day may include:
• Support characterizing and investigating the performance of various engineered products, as well as the development of new technologies
• Evaluate and authorize changes that impact the design, scope, budget, and/or timeline of a project
• Support in creating, developing, planning, writing and editing test procedures and resultant data for paper, multi-media, or electronic publication, for non-technical and technical users
• May meet with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, ID resources and assess project risks
• Interface with both internal/external customers and vendors along with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams
What your background should look like:
- Candidate must have a BS or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly motivated, quick learner, and can work independently
- An understanding of RF and electromagnetic principles
- Experience in the field of EMI/EMC, RF engineering, or signal integrity
- Connector and cable assembly knowledge is a bonus

• Spectrum or Network Analyzers
• Mode-stirred and/or Anechoic Chambers
• Antennas and Amplifiers
• MS Office Tools (i.e. Excel)
• Circuit Board Design
• 2D/3D CAD Tools
• Soldering
• Keysight ADS, PLTS, Python, MATLAB, Vee, and/or LabView, a plus

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $113,800-170,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
