Job Description
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Communicate and meet HSE objectives, conduct monthly audits, and manage safety meetings.
- Behavior Based Safety (BBS): Deploy and utilize BBS programs daily, including Behavior Based Observations, Field Level Risk Assessments, and Near Miss recording.
- Incident Management: Lead investigations and root cause analysis for unplanned events, and develop Lessons Learned with coordinators.
- Operational Performance: Communicate and meet operational objectives, support coordinators and lab personnel, and identify and implement improvements.
- Scheduling and Timesheets: Develop work schedules, review and approve timesheets, and coordinate external analysis.
- Equipment Maintenance: Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance plan for lab equipment, and monitor performance and repairs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with SGS quality systems (ISO), review key quality data, and develop corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion projects like 5S, Kaizens, and waste reduction, and ensure OGC Core audits are carried out.
- Training and Compliance: Ensure training aligns with SGS and client best practices, direct employees are supported in their personal development and work according to SGS’s compliance requirements and Code of Integrity.
Qualifications
- Requires knowledge in analytical chemistry, a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (preferred)
- 5+ years of management experience in the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals industry or other related industry

Salary Range: $45-$55 Per hour
