Sr. Maintenance Technician – Central Utilities Maintenance
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Sr. Maintenance Technician will report to a Maintenance Manager and will perform maintenance and reparations in the Central Utilities Building, AML Site, and Wastewater Treatment Plant. This role supports a Non-Standard shifts organization, and report to the Facilities & Engineering (F&E) department.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute advanced maintenance activities on process equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, job plan and EHS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking responsibility for completion of work, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Knowledge performing maintenance and or reparation of the following systems: Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Water Treatments Systems among others.
- Document plant performance including daily flow and chemical usage.
- Communicate with clients and customers related to routine and non-routine maintenance
- Pay attention to details, identifies, and resolve situations/problems. Shares suggestions to improve systems downtime cycles and maintenance.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office application.
- Able to support other departments and or projects according to business needs.
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma & 6 years of maintenance experience.
Or
Associate degree & 4 years of maintenance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience working in a GMP regulated facility.
- Hands on experience working with variety of equipment including multiple types of pumps and valves, diesel generators, air handling units, wastewater lift stations, water filtration systems etc.
- Experience working and/or knowledge in how to work with LNG systems.
- Experience working and/or knowledge in how to work with Cogeneration systems. Preferable Turbine driven systems.
- Experience working with predictive maintenance, vibration analysis, ultrasound survey, infrared survey & laser alignment.
- Available to work in Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Experience executing and documenting maintenance work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Ability to interpret P&ID's, identify hazards, isolation points and inter-dependencies between services for LOTO purposes.
- Ability to work with minimum direction, identify issues and effectively communicate the status of equipment or tasks in a timely manner.
- Available to support nonstandard shift on atmospheric and/or emergency events.
- Be willing to develop your technician skills according to department needs.
