Our “Specials” manufacturing division make a range of licensed and unlicensed medicinal products - from creams and ointments to suspensions and solutions. We're looking to add a QA Manager to this busy and fast-paced team.
The Role
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operational performance of the quality team. You will be responsible to make sure that the Quality Assurance function runs smoothly, and tasks are completed within given deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality policies.
- Perform, oversee, approve, manage, and investigate various QMS tasks such as Deviations, CAPAs, Risk Assessment, Change Control, Customer Complaints etc.
- Ensure new customers such as pharmacies, wholesalers, hospitals etc. are qualified and added on the ERP system.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact for any issues related to quality internally and externally for the site.
- Provide regular quality updates and reports to senior management, including monitor key quality metrics.
- Develop and deliver training programs for QA and production staff.
- Guide QA officers in their day-to-day tasks such as releasing of products, periodic checks and to perform other quality tasks when needed.
Skills and Attributes Required
- Scientific degree is highly desired, or a person should have demonstrable good experience in pharmaceutical company or GMP environment.
- Demonstrable track record of skills and experience in Quality Assurance department or in position of similar level.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical market specially Unlicenced Products.
- Wide knowledge of products and process related to manufacturing of specials.
- Good leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Good decision-making, self-introspective and analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Good problem-solving skill, commercially astute and excellent project management skills.
- Ability to cope with pressure and change and can do’ attitude.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and ability to work in multi-cultural working environment.
- Excellent attentions to details and troubleshooting skills.
