Job Description
- Provide support to research scientists by maintaining and plating cells for experiments.
- Assist in the development of automated assays by supplying necessary samples for validation by automation engineers.
- Conduct routine cell-based assays, biochemical assays, and automated workflows to support scientists.
- Coordinate activities supporting the team, ensuring alignment with the priorities of various workstreams.
- Adhere to GLP standards and maintain thorough documentation using an electronic lab notebook.
- Assist in organizing the lab, including managing samples and reagents.
- Follow all documentation and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant laboratory experience, or a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field with 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with maintaining and plating cell lines.
- User-level experience with automated liquid handlers, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience with running cell-based assays (e.g., transfection, harvest, analysis) in 96/384 well formats.
- Experience with conducting biochemical assays, such as assembling enzymatic reactions.
- Familiarity with industry practices and standards.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Additional Information
