Job Description
- Regularly testing Raw Materials using wet chemistry techniques
- Periodic Raw Material sampling activities
- Write / revise laboratory-related documentation (e.g. SOPs, SPECs)
- Maintain laboratory supplies
- Ensure continuous laboratory compliance with all cGMP requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing environment.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Perform visual testing on all components of drug product container, closure, and medical device components
- May also conduct testing that supports the release of container, closure, and medical device components utilizing several manual and instrumental techniques and documenting associated test results
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Participate in required training activities
- Gathers data and documents test results.
- Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
- Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data.
- Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
- Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
- Continuously drive to improve processes for improved performance using Lean & 5s
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Life Sciences, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with GMP preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Level will be determined based on relevant education and/or experience

Position is full-time, 1st shift 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
