Overview
Manufacturing associate in Hollow Fiber and Flat Sheet membrane manufacturing, perfroming all aspects of production from lacquer and process fluid preparation to casting, measuring, drying, and packaging of product.
Schedule: This position has a schedule that includes Saturdays and Sundays each week. Flexible with schedule as long as candidate commits to every Saturday and Sunday (i.e.could have any 2 days off that are weekdays-- MON/TUE or THUR/FRI, or TUE/WED, etc).

- Prepares samples as required per applicable instructions for fiber qualification.
- Performs visual inspection and dimensional analysis using vision system.
- Performs sample testing for fiber characteristics such as performance with various testing equipment (Measurement equipment, refractometer, spectrophotometer).
- Provides routine feedback to supervisors and engineers on suggested changes to help optimize processes.
- Records test data in excel spreadsheet and analyzes against specifications.
- Documents nonconforming results. Reports result to supervisor.
- Performs Maintenance on laboratory equipment, instruments, and inventory.
- Adherence to all company Quality policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort where needed.
- Weighs and prepares process solutions
- Abillity to cross train in Flat Sheet Membrane.
- Work in a cleanroom environment and follow all proper gowning protocols.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma required, Associates degree or equivalent preferred
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and time management
- Ability to communicate effectively, especially within a team environment
- Microsoft software skills required
- Experience in pharmaceuticals or medical devices following GDP preferred
- Regularly required to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time throughout the work shift.
- Must be able to manually complete documents and make edits where needed.
