Supply Chain & Retail
Supply Chain Services provides both pre-wholesale and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical, healthcare and animal health products to pharmacies and hospital nationwide. The business supports a diverse customer base through the provision of strong service levels coupled with innovative commercial initiatives. In addition, the business provides services and supports that help independent community pharmacy to compete more effectively in an increasingly difficult environment and runs a network of Uniphar-owned pharmacies under the Life, Allcare, McCauleys and Hickeys symbol brands.
Pharma – On Demand
The On-Demand business is a specialist medical supply business that sources and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies to healthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We have offices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company’s main divisions encompass everything from International Sales through Sales to NGO’s and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply, Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and the storage and distribution of medical products and devices for third parties.

This position is a fixed term contract until end of 2026.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and processing of daily Returns.
- Assisting with the management of query tickets around returns and complaints.
- Monitoring the Temperature System (EMS) and printing weekly warehouse temperature reports for the RP/DRP review.
- Creation and Review of quality related procedures and quality documentation within the Quality Management System.
- Assisting with the raising and investigation of Deviations and Non-Conformances within the Quality Management System.
- Review and Approval of Customer and Vendor Setups
- Review and approval of new product set ups.
- Assisting with carry out annual Bona Fides checks.
- Administration and support of Recalls/Quarantine Requests.
- Support the business in the daily duties associated with rework activities.
- Assisting RP with documenting of appropriate site specific CAPAs and change controls.
- Assisting the RP with close out of deviations.
- Assist with GDP and procedural based training.
- Generation and review of risk assessments.
- Reporting of exempt medicines products to the HPRA.
- Coordinating product quality complaints.
- Supporting regulatory and supplier audits.
- Supporting the internal audit program.
- Completing temperature control checks for products at goods receipt.
- Investigate FMD alerts received by the site.
- Any other quality duties which may arise.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- A third level qualification in science is preferred but not essential.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a GxP environment is preferred by not essential.
- Experience in the operation of warehouse management systems.
- Excellent PC skills, including Word & Excel PowerPoint etc.
- Previous experience of administration duties an advantage
