Job Description
- Execute and perform testing as per methods, following the company’s Standard Operating Procedures, ISO and cGMP guidelines.
- Work as a team with other Analysts and communicate effectively with peers and superiors.
- Ensure that work order documentation is complete in every aspect and all results are entered into the electronic Laboratory Information System or the Client’s Certificate of Analysis before submission to the QA reviewer.
- Prioritize, schedule and plan daily work in order to maintain efficient work flow to assure completion of schedule and due dates.
- In case of testing failure, immediately report to the Department Manager and/or Group Leader before proceeding any further with the test. Assist in the failure investigations as instructed. Do not discard any solutions or glassware that was used during testing.
- Inform the Department Manager and/or Group Leader, as far in advance as possible, if the assigned work order cannot be satisfactorily completed within established scheduled time and quality of work expectations.
- Perform additional assigned lab duties and periodically update Department Manager and/or Group Leader on the status.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained in good order; perform calibrations and qualifications as required.
- Record findings in standardized format, keeping all records and analyst note book in good order. Prepare reports and record data in timely manner.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Science related field, chemistry preferred
- 2+ years with demonstrated ability to complete more complex role/duties.
- Experience working in GMP environment preferred
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting preferred
- Understanding of wet chemistry techniques i.e - IR, UV, KP, Titration
- Hands on experience with HPLC, Dissolution, GC, UPLC and HPIC
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
