Job Description
The Quality Assurance Associate assists in execution of Quality Management System, Document Management System and Training Management System to assure cGMP compliance for all relevant operations carried out within SGS Life Science Services Quality Assurance Department at SGS Mississauga site. The incumbent must be capable of multi-tasking to meet the departmental needs of working with laboratory managers and supervisors on a regular basis.This position is also responsible to support regulatory submissions to maintain SGS licenses up to date.This position operates under limited supervision.
Qualifications
• A B.Sc. in Chemistry, microbiology or related fields
• Experience minimum over one year in Quality Assurance (QA collage certification may be considered acceptable in lieu of QA experience) role.
• Prior technical experience in a chemistry/ microbiology/biopharmaceutical related role would be preferred.
• Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others & independently.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures in a timely manner.
• Candidates must be proficient in using various type of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) and be able to demonstrate good keyboarding skills.
• Must be highly organized and able to work effectively and efficiently in a demanding environment with frequently changing priorities.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
• As per Orientation and Training SOP all employees must maintain appropriate attitude, constant vigilance, and attention to detail in the execution of all their duties.
• All training is up to date and relevant in advance of conducting any work where training is required.
• Incumbents are responsible for their own training records according to training SOP.
