Functions as a technical expert owning both chemicals and equipment expertise for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) circuit metallization, works with R&D, Product line management, and commercial team in new product commercialization, application development, line installation, and critical trouble-shooting.
The candidate will manage the DOE experiment / data analysis from the laboratory and the metallization sampling arrangement in the pilot line to increase success rate of business by the integration of the product testing capacity. And he / she also provides the customized onsite technical support and advice to the target PCB customers to enhance the customer response rate, product promotion and engineering support capability.
Main Responsibility.

- Understands environmental, health and safety practices and work proactively to improve the level of safety in Customer Account Technology Team / R&D.
- Interact with PCB fabricators frequently to understand customers’ needs, defend existing business, and explore new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal functional groups to accelerate new product development and commercialization by contributing field knowledge.
- Leverage efficient expertise to expand DuPont products to different processes and equipment allocation.
- Work closely with commercial team and provide technical services including new product promotion, installation, and critical troubleshooting to meet customer needs by equipping with technology professionals.
- Bring tech-marketing insights into the organization.
- Manage, design and monitor the product DOE plan and sample preparation.
- Ensure the safety and smoothly operation for experiment and sample preparation.
- Ensure that Laboratory records are complete, clear, and accurate.
- Responsible for data analysis and evaluation of experiment / sampling processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
- Establish and maintain Laboratory safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring compliance issues.
Required Skill Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience working experience in printed circuit board (PCB) industry especially for Make Hole Conductive (MHC) and Electrolytic Copper Plating (EP) processes is an advantage.
- Strong data analytical and DOE capabilities. Comfortable and experienced with using data analytics to drive decisions. Familiar with analytical software (e.g. JMP, Minitab, MS Excel).
- Ability to design a research plan, conduct experiments and analyze data.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines
- A strong self-motivator with good working discipline, interpersonal skills, and leadership potential.
- Strong logical thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as demonstrate computer skills using PC-based applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Fluent in written English. Listening & speaking capability is an advantage.
- Fluent in Chinese or other language is an advantage.
- Willing to travel
