SUPPLY PCHAIN PLANNING LEADER
Job Overview
Drives end to end supply chain performance efficiency and excellency for product line/ Manufacturing
sites assigned. Work on Demand analysis; Supply reliability, flexibility, and agility; Inventory efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Demand / Customer profile analysis
• Understand business and customer, closely working with Product team, demand planning
team and DC planning team to understand customer requirement, DC replenishment
requirement and keep improving the demand signal to plant.
• Understand customer requirement (product line/ key customer), coordinate and lead the
end- to-end cross functional team to keep improving customer experience by providing tailor
SC offer.
• Understand OCP /NPI status and being able to make sure the demand is taken into demand
management scope; any risks and issues are pre-alerted.
Measurement:
• GDC forecast accuracy by plant line (integrated product family level in value): Bias, Accuracy.
• Product life cycle visibility, demand stability and resource impact (NPI demand tracking alignment and
consolidate with DC stock preparation, plant resource preparation. Phase out and Footprint project
impact on demand, supply, inventory) visible in the demand management, evolution and risk
management and escalation.
Inventory efficiency
• Tracking the end-to-end inventory status: Customer inventory, DC inventory, Plant inventory.
Coordinate and push related functions to improve inventory efficiency according to company
inventory target.
• Identify the inventory efficiency improvement opportunities along the end-to-end supply
chain, leading or being part of the key contributor to drive inventory optimization without
impacting customer offer.
Measurement:
• DC inventory value, DOH, Health ratio, missing risk, excess and obsolete reduction. Driving optimization
action / project
• Plant inventory value, DOH, Health ratio, missing risk, excess and obsolete reduction. Optimization
project lead / support
Supply Planning
• Plant capacity follow up based on customer demand/sales forecast to ensure mid/long term
supply risk is identified with actions. Alert to customer care / sales team in advance for any
long-term impact.
• Plant supply status weekly follow up to make sure no delivery risk to DC and customer, any
risks will be alerted in advance with mitigated actions. Customer delivery impact will be high
lighted in advance with action review and update timely.
• Working with CCM team (customer care management team) and DC planning team to keep
improving overall supply status in term of supply flexibility and agility.
• Extending supply planning activities with key suppliers/critical suppliers to ensure all the key
factors impacting supply chain are in the monitor and management scope.
Measurement (weekly tracking):
• STR; STS
• PDR
• End to end LT ( DC , Transportation, Manufacturing Site, Supplier).
• Shortage risk /Escalation management
SIOP and Supply Review
• Actively coordinate SIOP team (PM, Demand planning, DC planning, plant planning team) to
Set the Monthly review By Top flow with clear information regarding demand, inventory and
supply along the supply chain.
• Align and lead decision making regarding supply plan with plant lead
• Escalation for critical matters (Capacity constraints…) and confirm actions with product team
leader, and supply chain planning management.
Measurement (Monthly)
• Delivery (LT, OTD, CNPS), Inventory, Demand management (along the product life cycle).
INTERACTIONS
• Plant manufacturing and Supply Chain team, CCM team, Logistic team, DC planning team, SC
transformation team.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
• On time delivery: STR, STS, PDR, PDS (by customer segment)
• End to End lead time optimization: Plant MLT/ALT (Focus), Logistic LT / Operation LT( be aware
of the LT and challenge and escalate for optimization)
• Inventory: value, turn, healthy ratio
• Logistic offer review and optimization (Product line, Key customer) : Lead time to customer’s
segment
• Forecast/Demand accuracy & BIAS: Customer demand, DC replenishment demand, MPS
demand, Vendor forecast

Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
