Terumo is a manufacturer of medical devices. In Leuven (Haasrode), Terumo produces approximately 800 million injection needles, injection solutions, catheters and necessary accessories per year.
Our strong performance was recently rewarded once again with the arrival of a large pharmaceutical company for which we will produce specifically developed products. To this end, we will create additional production capacity, with a new machine park that combines automation with extensive data capture.
To help ensure the start-up of this new production unit on the right track, we are looking to expand our engineering and maintenance team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a person to support, maintain and develop applications and devices in the OT network. Including PLCs, SACADA systems, data acquisition systems and WebAPI.
Job Responsibilities
- Support implementation of OT hardware, software, and connectivity to supporting infrastructure services.
- Configure and support SCADA systems. (Rockwell , Zenon, B&R)
- Configure and support data acquisition systems (inmation)
- Development and maintenance of Web API applications.
- Provide consultation with regards to software/systems implementation and validation including work with the project team to ensure smooth service transition into operations.
- Collaborate with SMEs to develop software for automation devices. (PLC, Vision systems, etc.)
- Collaborate with ICT to ensure OT systems are patched and kept up to date.
- Collaborate with ICT to ensure OT technology roadmap is in place and plans are put in to replace legacy software ware and hardware.
- Collaborate with ICT to manage risks associated with software and hardware vitality.
Profile Description
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, ICT or a related field.
- Experience with OT and automation networking protocols. (Ethernet IP/TCP, EtherCAT, Modbus, OPC, etc)
- Knowledge of LUA and C language programing. (JSON is plus)
- Experience with SCADA .
- Knowledge of multiple PLC and HMI programming. (e.g. Omron, Rockwell, Siemens, B&R, )
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
