Overview
To proactively promote a positive Health and Safety environment for employees, located in Limerick.The Administrative Coordinator will provide technical support on occupational safety and otherrelevant, health and safety issues.
Responsibilities
∙ Generate environment and health & safety reports in a timely and efficient manner.∙ Monitor trade effluent compliance and generate statutory reports. ∙ Execution of Purchase Requisitions for the Department, as necessary.∙ Ensure that all records are properly maintained. ∙ Organisation of meetings for site project reviews and presentations.∙ Participation in cross-functional project work as dictated by emerging business needs.∙ Adherence to and enforcement of all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)requirements on sites, plus communication of any concerns regarding environmentalimpact, health or safety issues to Manager.∙ Arrangement of employee assessments (eye, audiometric, medical, vaccination etc.).∙ Procurement and stock management of EHS supplies including PPE, DSE equipment,miscellaneous equipment as requested.∙ LMS Technician for EHS components including set-up and ongoing management.∙ Maintain EHS related documents such as procedures, risk assessments and reports andappropriate filing of same i.e. livelink, filing to document control, filing to HR.∙ Scheduling of training (classroom, online etc.)∙ Waste report generation and tracking of certs of destruction.∙ Generating reports and updating EHS metrics.∙ Assisting in audit preparation.∙ Contractor Database management.∙ Building of Quality into all aspects of one’s work by maintaining compliance with allsite and corporate Quality Management System requirements. ∙ Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried outon Cook’s behalf. ∙ All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
∙ Relevant third level qualification and/or relevant experience desired. ∙ Two+ years’ experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment desired. ∙ The ability to maintain confidentiality. ∙ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ∙ Strong knowledge of computer software
