Are you a driven, adaptive and creative data expert seeking a new opportunity to help patients in a long-established medical device organisation?
We are looking for a Senior Statistician or Data Scientist to join our team of experts and be accountable for providing specialist statistical advice and developing clinical study protocols such as sample size calculation, hybrid study designs, real-world evidence studies and statistical analysis plans.
You will work across a variety of studies across our Advanced Wound Management, Orthopedics, and Sports Medicine & ENT global portfolios. We're looking for a lifelong learner, who has a great foundation in clinical biostatistics and a true passion for innovation.
What will you be doing?
- Providing statistical expertise for study design and planning.
- Conducting comprehensive statistical analyses.
- Ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the business.
- Interpreting analytical results and presenting them to senior collaborators.
- Provide expertise to guide internal teams, including mentoring junior statisticians and colleagues on concepts and methods.
- Stay up to date on the latest statistical innovations relevant to medical device clinical studies.
What will you need to be successful?
To thrive in this role, you'll need a solid educational background in a relevant subject such as statistics, mathematics, physics, or data science. Your deep understanding of methodologies and clinical trial regulations, including FDA and ISO standards, will be crucial. You'll bring significant experience in analysing and reporting clinical study data, and you'll be adept at using simulations to predict clinical outcomes.
Your proficiency with statistical software tools like SAS and R will enable you to generate accurate and reliable results. Additionally, your effective communication skills will allow you to share study findings with internal collaborators and regulatory authorities seamlessly.
