About the Role:
If you're a proactive, customer-focused team player, this role could be perfect for you! As our Service Technician within pulmonary function testing, you'll split your time between the field and our office, providing vital support to clients and ensuring our equipment performs to the highest standard. A full driving license is required, as is a commutable distance to our Buckinghamshire office. Occasionally, you'll have overnight stays to meet the needs of our clients.
If you're eager to learn and have an interest in electronics or troubleshooting, we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in growing sales and supporting Vitalograph and partner products across the UK & Ireland.
- Collaborate with the UK Healthcare Service Manager to optimise the UK Service Department.
- Provide information and advice on products, identifying sales opportunities, and coordinating with sales reps.
- Handle routine calibrations, repairs, maintenance, and testing of our equipment.
- Support clients by resolving issues promptly and communicating progress.
- Visit customer sites as needed to support installations, resolve issues, and assist staff.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and support marketing and sales activities.
- Contribute to improving our internal processes for sales, service, and customer support.
What We're Looking For:
- Basic knowledge or interest in electronics and troubleshooting (training provided).
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office; knowledge of Windows, networks, and general hardware.
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to visualise issues and explain solutions to customers clearly and confidently.
- Understanding of Health & Safety principles (training will be provided).
