Apply now for the position of Data Scientist and you will deliver high quality AI/ML solution pipelines focused on decision support and business process improvement, especially in the fields of logistics, manufacturing, commercial operations, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in simulation model development for risk assessment and strategic decision support, process improvement, data set development, and operations research.
Your Role:
- You engage with partners in Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, and Finance to identify use cases for advanced analytics and identify and develop AI/ML solution pipelines.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of simulation models to support technical forecasting and strategic operations decisions in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Develop and maintain control frameworks for deployed AI/ML solution pipelines.
- Identify continuous development tasks and implementation plans for deployed AI/ML solution pipelines and manage code repositories.
- Develop front-end visualizations for AI/ML solution pipelines during build out as necessary, collect requirements and pass design specifications for permanent front-end visualizations on to development team.
- Provide solution design requirements as needed to offshore support team and execute solution review procedures with team on subsequent code base.
- Participate in cross-team code review activities for portfolio of AI/ML solution pipelines.
Your Expertise:
- Several years of experience developing and deploying production quality AI/ML solution pipelines to support business operations process improvement.
- Several years of code development experience in Python or R
- Several years of code development experience in SQL
- Experience in applied simulation development (e.g. Monte Carlo, discrete event, system dynamics, etc.)
- Ability to utilize general AI/ML algorithms (e.g. tree-based models, boosting, GLM, RNN, CNN, classification, and clustering techniques).
- Experience utilizing statistical techniques to assess modeling outcomes (hypothesis testing, design of experiment, estimation of distributions, assumption interpretation etc.)
- 5+ years supporting business operations analysis (particularly in logistics, manufacturing, planning, commercial operations, and finance)
- Several years of development experience in a cloud-based analytics platform (e.g. Databricks)
- BA/BS in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Data Science

For candidates located in the U.S., the pay range for this position is $119,500 - $179,300 U.S. dollars annually; however, the base pay offered for this position may be narrower than that displayed range depending on the actual location where the work is performed, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
