Your responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a role in the development, consultation, delivery and ongoing maintenance of SL Controls' smart factory offerings in Denmark as part of NNIT, catering to an established customer base that includes top-tier pharma and medical device clients. To excel in this position, you will receive ample support, mentorship, and training for the role from the experienced SL Controls Subject Matter Experts team specialised in smart factory solutions.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our well-established multinational customer base, providing them with exposure to diverse customer deployments and solutions.
Your qualifications and experience:
Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent, with emphasis in software development, electrical, electronic or automation discipline, with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in industry, preferably in a pharmaceutical, MedTech, biotechnology, blue chip or relevant GMP manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to details, including the ability to proofread documents and to accurately translate customers’ requirements into meaningful end-user instructions consistently.
- Ability to present complex and technical data confidently, and to meet the technical skills level of the audience.
Essential skills:
- Experience in the delivery of complex automation systems.
- Strong technical ability on a variety of identified platforms and systems.
- Proven influencing ability on various technical platforms, demonstrating adaptability to pick up new technologies as needed for specific clients or projects.
- An understanding of a variety of automation systems, programming languages etc. (distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, SCADA systems, CSV validation and quality techniques etc.)
- Demonstrated proven / certified SME capability in PLC logic and programming with one or more of the following PLC’s programming languages or SCADA systems specific expertise:
Desirable skills:
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is also highly advantageous, Delta V, OSI PI, SQL / Oracle, Wonderware, OT Architecture, OPC Kepware, MES Integration
- Strong capabilities in S95 level 1,2 and level 3 systems and their integration.
- Strong working knowledge of OLE for process control.
- Strong exposure to MES technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications (SQL / Oracle / OSI PI), visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing.
- Creation / loading of level 2 recipes
- Strong PL/SQL programming experience in software development with Microsoft Visual Studio / development tools; knowledge of web services, ASP and .net technologies.
Fluency in oral and written English is a must. A second language (Danish, German, French) is beneficial.
Travel must be expected, but will be kept to necessary business trips.
