Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $19.25 per hour (including shift differential). Opportunities for a promotion to the next level. Earn more as you learn more with our Pay by Skill Program.
This position reports to
Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute
the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will operate machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Molding Department in the Hackettstown, NJ location.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Operating heated molding presses to mold and cure products.
Inspecting each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect interior of work pieces.
Trimming excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed.
Removing molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle, remove tooling from work pieces.
Keeping track of approved, defective units, and final products
Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working with molding presses in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in manufacturing. It is preferred that you have 1 year of experience but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- You are proficient in communicating in English
- You hold current work authorization that would permit you to work for ABB in the US
