This role is essential in ensuring that PFT equipment reaches healthcare providers, including secondary care hospitals and GP asthma networks, on time and in optimal condition. Your expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and logistics coordination will support our mission to deliver high-quality, reliable diagnostic tools for patient care. Key Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting and Planning: Analyze historical data, seasonal trends, and current market demands to forecast inventory needs accurately, ensuring sufficient stock levels for timely fulfilment. Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory teams to optimize stock levels, ensuring adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory, especially for high-demand locations. Logistics Coordination: Oversee the scheduling, packaging, and shipping of PFT equipment to healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. Vendor and Carrier Relations: Manage relationships with shipping carriers, negotiate rates, track performance, and ensure high standards in delivery accuracy and timelines. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track shipment performance, delivery timelines, and demand accuracy; generate reports and suggest improvements based on findings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to align logistics with customer demand and ensure timely response to urgent requests. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all logistics processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including packaging and shipment of medical technology. Role Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in demand planning, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in medical device or healthcare technology shipping. Familiarity with shipping regulations and handling protocols for sensitive equipment is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in demand planning and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems). Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel and data visualization tools for forecasting. Problem-Solving and Organizational Skills: Ability to make data-driven decisions, solve logistical challenges, and optimize supply chain processes. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams. Working Conditions: Office/Warehouse Hybrid: Combination of office and warehouse environments, with occasional travel as needed.
