Project Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - Ireland - 12-Month

Our client, responsible for the development of a number of key and revolutionary products and with a thriving global presence is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join their new 12-Month project.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering various process/equipment upgrade projects from requirements to handover.
- Responsible for managing all EHS requirements through the full life cycle of the project
- Develop User Requirements for systems by engaging with the site operations, EHS, maintenance, utilities, technical and quality teams ensuring that the proposed solutions are acceptable.
- Undertake Design Reviews and Risk Assessments during design phase of the projects
- Understand the core fundamental issues and develop mitigation plans for all project issues identified.
- Contractor supervision is a requirement for this position.
- Participate in engineering team initiatives on an as needed basis.
- Ensure that the quality and engineering standards are adhered to.
- Understand the Global Engineering Standards and ensure that all proposals developed, and projects are delivered to client standards.
- Work with all stakeholders to deliver key projects supporting Maintenance, Facilities, Utilities, Operations & Logistics
Requirements
- Primary Degree in Mechanical / Process / Chemical / Electrical Engineering
- Project Experience with knowledge and exposure to Process Plant, Utilities, Electrical, Maintenance & Facilities systems and ideally within a highly regulated GMP environment
- Understanding of Project Life Cycle and adherence to stage gate process within
- Development of User Requirement Specifications and High-Level Scope documentation
- Project Cost and Schedule Control
- Commissioning & Qualification of Process & Utility Systems
- Understanding of GMP and the Quality standards required in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector
- Understanding and experience of working with construction regulations and Project Health & Safety requirements
