About Us
Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies is investing £400M to introduce a new, state-of-the-art biomanufacturing facility. This biomanufacturing facility will provide additional Cell Culture and Viral Gene Therapy cGMP manufacturing capacity to the existing Billingham, UK campus and is expected to become operational in 2025.
Role & Responsibilities
- Delivery of Technology Transfer objectives and delivery through others technology transfer objectives
- Stewardship of the business processes and the standards required to deliver effectively technology transfer objectives.
- Sponsor, champion and manage delivery of capital projects
- Work with Asset Management Teams to provide appropriate standards for effective System Ownership to deliver best practice operating methods
Qualifications and Experience
- The job holder requires an honours degree or higher qualification in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Recognised by the IChemE
- Work Experience Experienced (>8 years) leading and participating in multi-disciplinary teams to introduce and realise manufacturing through technology transfer of biotechnology products e.g. biologic drug substance manufacture
