The Contract Specialist provides contract analysis to support the development and implementation of Region strategies, price execution, and overall price and contract management. Reporting directly to the Manager of Life Science & Specialty Gases , the Contract Specialist will assist with contracts. The role provides insightful analysis, timely actionable information for business leaders and field sales, and assists in making decisions for day-to-day and strategic pricing issues with the goal of overall margin and profitability enhancement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
New contract administration:
Contract review to ensure signature by both parties.
Sends/distributes/files signed original contracts.
Updates contract data bases.
Assist with the record keeping of bulk customer first fills.
Assist with site setup and customer installation details
Provide detailed volume and revenue analysis for the region
Contract database maintenance:
Maintains database with all contract/price changes through partnership with field sales including customer communication and relevant price changes.
Monitors contract expirations dates and cancellations within SFDC.
As skills develop, associate may participate in war room discussions to review renewal strategies.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or related area of study. In lieu of degree, consideration for up to 4 years of additional related experience may be considered.
A minimum of one to three years of progressively responsible professional level experience in the areas of Finance, Pricing, Product Marketing, or Legal Administration.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of financial/statistical modeling and pricing tools.
Excellent analytical skills with ability to apply complex/multiple data sources to problem-solve.
Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or Google equivalents.
