Job Purpose
The Vaccines CMC Transversal Processes Lead will be responsible to diagnose, design, implement and embed enterprise continuous improvement projects within the scope of Vaccines Technical R&D (TRD) as well as maintenance of enterprise processes as part of business-as-usual activities. They will work closely with the Vaccines CMC Performance Lead and TRD functional Capability Leads to ensure improvements are aligned with identified bottlenecks in portfolio and project delivery to enable fit for purpose processes. The CMC Transversal Processes Lead will have excellent Stakeholder Management, Communication and Change Acumen and a natural matrix team leader to collaborate and influence across functions, seniority levels and locations across GSK.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive appropriate review of Transversal processes against CMC benchmarks to identify gaps to improve
Work closely with TRD leaders/ matrix functional partners to design fit for purpose processes to appropriate standards to improve CMC project delivery including
- Leading the effort within TRD to significantly enhance proficiency levels in Project Management Practices including:
- Scheduling Practices
- Budget Management Practices
- Risk Management Practices
- Resource Management Practices
- Critical Path Management
- Project Management Monitoring
- Knowledge Management Practices
Continuous improvement of the global ways of working to enable a resource efficient and effective TRD organization.
Design and implement the project management aspects to adequately address Knowledge Management, Projects Risk Management and related documentation practices.
Support the development and deployment of the Vx CMC operating model. Ensuring integration of Quality by Design principles, leverage internal and external best practices, align with the integrated vaccine plan.
Robust Onboarding process for tPMs in place
Establishing and leading a mechanism to periodically drive gap analysis and assessment of organizational capability needs - utilizing key performance indicators and feedback as a means of assessment. This should include intelligence gathering of future industry trends that will inform the future required capability profiles across TRD.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Advanced (Masters) degree in project management, engineering sciences, and/or academic level in life sciences
- 8+ years applicable project management experience in product development, manufacturing and team management in industry and sound experience in business process design.
- Understanding of the framework within which a bio-pharmaceutical product/vaccine must be maintained in compliance (Authorities / Scientific / Business)
- Significant experience in Stakeholder Management and Change Management Principles to drive smooth implementation and user adoption.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- University degree (minimum Master degree) in Project Management, engineering sciences, and/or life sciences
- Minimum of 10 years applicable experience in development, manufacturing and team management in industry and sound experience in business process design.
- Effective verbal, written, presentation communications skills.
- Experience in Agile Project Management
- PMP Certified
- Proficient in Digital tools such as Microsoft Project and Power BI
- Certified Change Management Practitioner
