Job Summary: The Security Architecture & Engineering service implementation lead at Becton Dickinson (BD) will be responsible for supporting the transition and implementation of cybersecurity capabilities from design to operations. This role involves cross functional coordination of cybersecurity deliverables, acting as day-to-day point of contact for functional stakeholders and ensuring cybersecurity products are compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The manager will work closely with IT, R&D, and cybersecurity teams to implement cybersecurity capabilities and controls and processes across BD systems.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitate the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the ISC, R&D and IT information systems and data.
- Help coordinate and ensure regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
- Collaborate with IT, ISC and R&D teams to ensure the implementation of appropriate security controls and measures.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to proactively mitigate risks.
- Help coordinate the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
- Coordinate the deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs with C&DR training led to educate employees on best practices.
- Facilitate the development and maintenance of incident response plans and coordinate with relevant stakeholders during security incidents.
- Help manage the lifecycle of security tools and services. (Implementation, Maintenance and decommissioning?
- Ensure that all service implementation and transition activities, including testing, validation, and deployment, are conducted effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain implementation and transition plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Conduct regular service reviews and audits to ensure quality and performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, service owners, and operational teams.
- Communicate service performance, issues, and improvements to stakeholders regularly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Cybersecurity or related experience
- 3 + years’ experience in Integrated Supply Chain Management, R&D or IT.
- Strong foundation in cybersecurity.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Strong Program Management Skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GICSP, GCIP, GRID)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OT cybersecurity and network monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Tenable, Clarity, Palo Alto).
- Familiarity with Secure Software Development best practices.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation.
