We are now looking to recruit a Production Operator - GFAM to join the team to produce high quality pharmaceutical products. The role will be based at our Romford site.
The role
Under the guidance of the Production Lead and with small team of motivated and talented individuals, you will be involved at the inception of sterile ampoule manufacture, helping to produce medicines that alleviate pain and provide critical care.
You will be:
- Working in a time sensitive and productivity conscious environment
- Applying your knowledge to ensure changeovers are efficient and machinery is maintained to maximise batch yield.
- Expected to work safely, methodically and with purpose, ensuring that appropriate cleanroom behaviour is adhered to.
- Ensuring that quality and H&S errors are minimised at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of cGMP and experience working in the pharmaceutical or a similar industry, although full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be process driven, with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Individuals will be required to wear cleanroom garments and a one-piece suit as well as PPE including powered respirators.
Due to the nature of the environment candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Manual handling is required. Individuals must demonstrate good hygiene practice and apply their training to minimise the risk of contamination.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Pay: Up to £26588 per annum including a 16% shift allowance
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday, working Early and Late shifts, which will rotate on a weekly basis. This is subject to operational needs.
Early shift will start between 6am and 6.30am and finish between 2pm and 2.30pm.
Late shift will start between 2pm and 2.30pm and finish between 10pm and 10.30pm.
