Process HSE Advisor - Pharmaceuticals - Ohio - 12-Month Contract
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Process HSE Advisor to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Primary deliverables of this project:
This role involves general support of HSE and leading the HSE for equipment and systems energization and control during Construction, Commissioning and Qualification. Some of the expected duties include but are not limited to:
- Working closely with GFD HSE to ensure alignment with corporate priorities and standards, safe work practices, environmental requirements, and master specifications and playbooks.
- Encouraging adherence to the engineering specs, HSE standards, and practices applicable to the project by the Design and Build team and other client-side contractors.
- Developing safety walkdown checklists (Construction Pre-Start Up Safety Review and Transfer to Operations Pre-Start Up Safety Review).
- Performing pre-HSE walkdowns to identify potential safety issues or non-compliance in the systems and facilities during construction.
- Conducting system walkdowns for Construction Pre-Start Up Safety Review and Transfer to Operations Pre-Start Up Safety Review.
- Coordinating and leading a cross-functional team for the HSE walkdown.
Must have experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in process safety
- 3+ years’ experience representing owner
- Proven Experience Leading Start Up in Capital Projects Pharma/Biotech.
- Experience and working knowledge of cGMP facilities requirements
- Having practical knowledge of industry standards related to HSE, such as NFPA 101, NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1, ANSI Z358, NFPA 70, 29 CFR 1910 Subpart O, 29 CFR 1910.119, IR Title 675, and 675 IAC 30.
- Experience establishing and managing LO/TO programs in complex construction and industrial sites.
- Practical Knowledge of construction activities on PSM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
