How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
VitalAire is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Client Service Technician for our St. John's branch. The Client Service Technician (CST) transports, delivers, and installs homecare equipment (including oxygen cylinders) to patients and institutions while maintaining safe operation of the company vehicle. The CST delivers quality patient care by educating patients on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the equipment.
Sets up homecare equipment at patients’ home, provides training to new clients and responds to requests from current clients.
Provides client education on equipment function, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Performs technical checks and reviews safety instructions with clients.
Maintains up-to-date documentation by completing appropriate records for technical visits including equipment exchanges, deliveries, and pick-up of equipment.
Ensures operation of medical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
Meets client needs by delivering products according to schedule and as required.
Ensures safe supply of gases to clients homes and transporting medical gases according to procedures and regulations.
Ensures correct loading of vehicle by identifying product requirements for the day/week, and unloading product or material in compliance with safety and legislative requirements.
Performs warehouse duties in the branches (IE: stocking shelves with supplies, shipping and receiving of products, and equipment cleaning and disinfection of patient equipment).
Provides after hour service to clients by participating in branch on-call rotation.

Are you a MATCH?
High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years of consecutive recent driving/delivery experience
2-3 years Customer service experience
Clean and valid driver’s abstract
Strong written and oral communication skills (verbal and written) in English
Basic computer / tablet skills
Knowledge of use and maintenance of respiratory home care equipment preferred; ability and willingness to learn and understand homecare equipment used by patients
Basic mechanical/repair skills
