Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS.
Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents.
Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage.
Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations.
Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions.
Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
Experience with multiple types of MHE- Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker, preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
General distribution knowledge.
Proficient in the use of a PC.
Strong initiative and drive for results.
