Job Description
We seek an experienced professional who can have an immediate impact to continue the growth of business and capability at our manufacturing sites. The focus is on properly applying technical mastery to enable & drive Business Results.
Our Engineers have an ability to lead teams, collaborate and drive decision making. In addition, they have the following:

The role is a P&G Engineer and not just a technical master.
As a Facilities Engineer, you will own the governance and business processes for various types of work, including:
Due Diligence for land and/or building acquisitions.
Technical Mastery to drive business solutions.
Site Master Planning including layouts, utilities, and logistics including all people and material flows.
Personal ownership and communicating to all levels within P&G.

Capability to have technical mastery and lead programs in Facilities and Utilities. Specifically, the ability to learn quickly areas where previous University Education or Experience did not include.
A passion for Sustainability.

A University Degree in one or more the following areas of Engineering:
Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar.
Bachelor of Science is the minimum requirement with a Master’s Degree or equivalent considered a bonus.

Job Qualification #1:
Technical Mastery
Capability in one or more of the following areas of Engineering: Structural, Civil, Industrial, Mechanical or similar Engineering. The technical knowledge and experience to include areas: Seismic, Geotechnical, Building Codes for Industrial, Roofing & Building Envelopes, Civil, and Building Systems (Steel, Concrete, others), Thermal & Utilities Systems, and Sustainability. Deep Technical Mastery in 1 or more of these disciplines is a must, however, the ability to learn, influence, and lead the others is equally important.
Job Qualification #2:
Facilities Integrator
Leadership Ability, Technical Knowledge of Facilities-adjacent Areas, & Project Management Skills to be the single owner for the following areas on a project: Structural, Civil, Architectural, Thermal, Utilities, Power, Fire Protection, and Water Systems. Collaboration and Coordination with other functions including but not limited to: Engineering (Making, Packing, Logistics), Operations, Health/Safety/Environment, Quality Assurance, and local authorities.
Job Qualification #3:
Capacity, Initiative, & Follow-Through
A demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with project team members across disciplines, multiple external contractors, and multiple regions. Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously. Workload will typically require managing technical input to multiple projects in multiple regions. Candidate needs to be flexible enough to handle both cases and flow-to-work as needed. Initiative & Follow-Through: With a saturated work environment, it is necessary to balance many different priorities simultaneously, make realistic commitments and deliver on those commitments.

Communication
The candidate will have numerous opportunities to communicate with
engineering leadership from multiple categories and should have a demonstrated ability to positively influence leadership decisions. Need to understand “your audience” to deliver the proper “big picture” and then the required details to enable “your audience” to make the proper business decision. In addition, need to be able to adjust your message track “real-time” during these communications. Communication parties include all levels (CEO, Engineers, Technicians, External Agencies with Authority, Community, External Engineering Partners, and External Construction Partners). Proficient verbal and written skills in English.
Job Qualification #6:
Autonomy
Ability to work independently and manage priorities without direct supervision is required. Ability to lead and influence your team which may include other P&G Facilities Engineers, Engineers at the manufacturing sites, outside engineering professionals, construction contractors. Live the principle of the “80 for the 20”, however, be responsible for the final best solution for P&G. Strong interpersonal skills are required to develop strong working relationships across the P&G organizations (Cincinnati, Plants, & Global Regions) as well as with external partners and contractors.

Technical Analysis
Demonstrate proficiency for technical systems integration. Must be able to optimize P&G Standards / Requirements with Industry Norms (local means & methods) across multiple Facilities disciplines to develop a Best Value System/Solution.

Data & Analytics
Ability to develop a “Foundational Systems Management Program” to take data, results, and other information to apply intelligent interpretation & predictive analysis. Implement tools and systems using data & analytics that will enable our sites to proactively make business decisions and report to leadership. Be a leader in training the organization to understand the metrics and data tools needed to make business decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-discipline teams to enact facility programs using data collected and present to leadership.
