Position Title: Worker – Maintenance / Facilities Worker Reports To: Director of Facilities FLSA Status: Hourly Location: Philadelphia, PA Perform general building and maintenance duties. These duties include but are not limited to: Installation and drywall repair, Painting, Carpentry, Basic plumbing, Basic electrical work and installation, HVAC PM's and repairs, Filter changes, Ceiling tile installation and maintenance, assembly of furniture and equipment, Snow and ice removal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Work with Building Electrical maintenance and the HVAC departments as needed Basic electrical repairs (i.e. lighting fixtures) Basic plumbing repairs Painting Carpentry skills Clean-up of worksite Lock & closer installation and repair Document PM check list when necessary Drywall tape and spackle repairs Keep up to date log books Move and install equipment Snow and ice removal Work on the trash conveyors and shipping conveyors when needed Roof Inspections Exterior building inspections Office Moves This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
