Job Description
Seeking a Laboratory Assistant in Shepparton, VIC on a casual basis, to support testing and sample receipt processes, ensuring timely results.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Perform analysis as per SGS methods and procedures.
- Support the Sample Reception & Chemistry team
- Perform QC checks, calibrations on instruments and take action accordingly.
- To represent SGS on site and on client visits.
- To provide a sample pick up and drop off service to SGS key clients.
- Sample bottle preparation and assist sample receipt on Shepparton site.
- Ensure analysis and data.
- Perform risk assessments.
- Perform internal audits.
Qualifications
- Qualifications in Environmental or Microbiology
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment
- Able to comprehend and provide feedback on technical issues
- Possess basic report writing skills
- Understanding of measurement and testing techniques related to environmental field sampling.
- Valid Victorian full driver’s license.
