This position reports to
Engineeing Manager
Your role and responsibilities
• Represent the voice of the customer within local teams
• Manage the customer quality issues, perform root cause analysis and lead the implementation of the corrective actions to solve the customer quality issues
• Manage internal quality systems (receiving inspection, scrap analysis, gage control, etc.) for assigned department
• Manage the overall quality system and ensure retention of our ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification
• Set and lead the quality strategy for the facility
Qualifications for the role
- High School Diploma with minimum 2 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of the following principles and should be able to elaborate the concepts: lean manufacturing, 5S, 8D reports and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
- Previous experience in customer support, service or client facing roles and previous knowledge or experience with electrical testing procedures
- Strong quality systems/process experience and ability to work individually or within a team or large groups as required
- Data analysis/trending experience
- ISO experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in team and great communication skills and diplomacy to deal with our customers
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
