Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, adjusting, and running various types of continuous manufacturing lines. This is a fast-paced multitasking role that requires, speed, precision, accuracy, attention to detail. Team members spend most or all of their workday on their feet. Each day in this job presents new challenges that require data analysis, process observation, and critical thinking in order to be successful.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Setup and maintain basic process lines
- Performs Line Clearance
- Completes documentation, data collection completely and accurately using GDP
- Cleaning /inspection tooling for upcoming runs
- Maintain production on multiple lines simultaneously
- Analyze data and make adjustments to production runs to maintain product quality and meet specifications
- Utilize various measurement systems to determine key parameters are met on mixtures or product.
- Trained in material handling operations: Assisting or performing material handler responsibilities as required
- Using business systems and MS Office programs as required
- Review pending job orders to determine type and quantity of materials needed for pending jobs
- Weigh and measure materials using scales
- Participates in department internal and external audits
- Able to measure critical wire/tubing dimensions such as: I.D., O.D. and length
- Responsible for periodic cycle counting of all raw materials
- Receives pre-determined work assignments with some instruction
- Follows established practices and procedures works within established process limits and communicates when having issues
- Ensures that jobs are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules.
- Training others on Material Handling operations
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1- 2 years manufacturing experience preferable
- Be able to read, write and speak fluent English

- Reports any safety or quality related concerns to supervisor or designee
- Communication with department and company leads, supervisors, engineers, and management
- Read, understand, and follow written procedures without deviating from the outlined process after completion of training
