PCI Pharma Services is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Production Planning & Scheduling as a Global Process Owner to standardize and optimize our production planning processes globally. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production planning and scheduling, have extensive experience utilizing ERP as well as Advanced Planning Systems (APS), and possess exceptional leadership skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Develop and implement comprehensive production planning and scheduling processes that align with business goals, support customer demand forecasts, and leverage full capability of planning systems. Is the global subject matter expert, collaborating with Site production planning teams by providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure effective team efficiency and productivity. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business development, operations, procurement, logistics, and sales to create the production strategy and meet operational targets. Implement best practices in production planning and scheduling to improve efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce lead times. Analyze production data, metrics, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate on inventory management processes to optimize stock levels and ensure timely availability of materials and finished products. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on production efficiency, adherence to schedules, and overall performance Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to production planning and scheduling. Act as Global Process Owner for production planning & scheduling set up, standardization, and harmonization of planning processes across Business Units, Sites, and ERP systems Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position. Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years related experience and/or training. College Level Mathematical Skills Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs. Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs. Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables. Ability to travel up to 25% Preferred: Certifications: APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) certification or similar is a plus 10-15 years of experience in production planning and scheduling roles, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership position Proven track record of successfully leading production planning and scheduling teams in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced knowledge of production planning software/tools Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. #LI-JM1 Join us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
