The role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at Nestle as we continue to expand and enhance our eCommerce platform for Nescafé Dolce Gusto. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and cloud technologies.
What you’ll do

Manage the DevOps capabilities products lifecycle: strategy, roadmap and backlog.

Ensure technical excellence and reduce technical debt of the products you own.

Be the expert on DevSecOps, coach and lead the application of its best practices: development, code QA, security and CI/CD.

Stay on top of the DevSecOps technology trends and experiment new tools and practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.
- Automate processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to ensure data protection.
- Volume Stress Testing
- Drive CI/CD improvements aiming to automate processes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in DevOps, eCommerce platforms, AWS, and Magento.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- 10+ years’ experience in a technical role.
- Strong experience of software development life cycle, code quality and security assurance – DevSecOps (SDLC, QA, SAST and SCA).
- Proficiency in Bitbucket, AWS, GIT, SonarQube, CICD, Groovy Scripting and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Understanding of agile methods and processes. Capacity to efficiently manage the End to End Product Lifecycle (Roadmap and Backlog management).

- Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience working with development agencies or external vendors is a plus.
