As a Technical Specialist for PFT Solutions within the Vitalograph Respiratory Diagnostic Solutions team, your primary responsibility is to provide expert Level 2 technical support on all Vitalograph PFT Solutions products, services and solutions to internal stakeholders, distribution partners, and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be the technical expert, troubleshoot complex problems and fully explain the features and benefits of PFT Solutions products (both hardware and application software).
- Provide Level 2 onsite and remote technical support for all PFT Solutions products to internal stakeholders, distribution partners, and end users globally.
- Handle customer complaints for the product range through the QMS, performing root cause analyses and developing preventative and corrective actions.
- Provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair training courses to internal stakeholders and partners including the creation of all associated materials, manuals, and documentation.
- Assist with initial and selective important installations at customer locations.
- Create and maintain documentation, manuals, etc. to support the role, internal stakeholders, distribution partners and end users.
- Support sales and marketing with select projects, workshops and exhibitions.
- Advise Product Management regarding customer satisfaction, customer feedback, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.
Requirements:
- In depth technical knowledge and understanding of PFT Solution products and services (or similar Medical Devices)
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a customer centric mindset to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
- Bachelor's degree in related Medical/Science/IT/Engineering/Science field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
- Proven experience in teaching or a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry showing end users and distribution partners how to use devices
This role requires a level of ad-hoc International Travel to assist our international customers which often this may be at short notice, please ensure that you have the necessary requirements and flexibility for global travel.
