Market Sensing & Strategy Development
• Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape, tell the organization “where to play” and “how to win”
• Product Portfolio management, put together product develop roadmaps that align with business strategy and improve the competitiveness for the in charging product lines.
• Implement Business strategy, working in diversified business model and keep high interest on new areas and applications.
• Go to market strategy, inclusive of channel strategy and partnerships.
• Work with cross functional team closely in the development of new products to meet current and future customer requirements.
• Manage the product lifecycle.
Develop Business Plan under Guide
• Set up aggressive goal to grow the business of the product lines in charge and get alignment with the team on the path to achieve the target
• Work cross functionally to define sales, technology and operations strategies in line with financial goals. Build consensus on specific tasks.
• Establish pricing policy.
• Develop the annual operating plan, be able to manage resources to make sure the plan implemented successfully
Execution – New Product Development & Launch
• Be the opportunity champion for PAC projects.
• Plans product launches including the development of marketing and sales plans.
• Provides demand forecast inputs to S&OP.
• Attend customer meetings in support of winning new business.
• Exercise through leadership.
• Provide inputs to Marcom for the development of collateral, including e-commerce.
Execution – Post Launch Product Management
• Deliver sustained profitable growth.
• Enable sales to promote product line via training and the development of collateral materials that help articulate the value proposition.
• Manage special price requests.
• Track progress to the business plan and facilitate resolution to gaps.
• Be the champion for resolution of product issues (e.g., quality, delivery, etc.).
Key Success Factors
Meet AOP targets on the following KPI’s
• Sales
• Gross Margin $ and %
• NPS target, and NPS Sales of new products 1 and 3 years post launch
• Delivery (Ship-To-Request)
• Manage new product development & launch on time and within budget
• Cost reduction targets
Candidate Qualification
• Bachelor degree or above
• MNC working experience preferred
• 8+ years experience in business environment, product management or product marketing function would be a strong advantage
• Fluent Chinese and English writing/speaking capability
• Good presentation skill
• Team working spirit, able to work under pressure and challenge
• 10~25% of working time travelling required
