Overview We now wish to recruit a Project Engineer Electrical Utilities to support an offshore project.

Responsibilities Responsibilities:
- Reports to the AC Lead Utilities
- Works in a multidisciplinary teams together with, amongst others, the package managers, project engineers, experts, procurements officers, HSE experts, PMO officer, …
- You support the development of the PEI project during all phases
- As the project engineer, you will assist during concept and design phase, with technical and engineering support on the following topics (depending on your expertise or knowledge):
- UPS systems
- LV distribution systems
- Earthing, bonding and lightning
- Cabling and cable ways
- Generators
- Lighting and power outlets
- A non-exhaustive list of tasks can be found below:
- You timely review the applicable design, engineering, material and project documents
- You check and proactively report conformance or non-conformance to the relevant parts of the Laws, Employer’s Requirements and Technical Standards
- You participate in the relevant technical, discipline and project design review workshops
- You propose and ensure an inherently safe and ergonomic design;
- You participate in the relevant production inspections and witness the relevant FAT
- You consult and align with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with diverse tasks (e.g.: document management, make visio/drawings, manage action lists,…)
- During execution phase: participate in HAT’s, SAT’s, …
- You witness the relevant commissioning activities
- You provide technical support to the construction and commissioning teams
Qualifications Qualifications:
- You have at least 6 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in the offshore sector is a plus
- Education: Master of Science in Engineering (Electrical)
- Experience in writing technical specifications and/or technical reports
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Working structured, independent and precise
- You work 3 days a week in Brussels, 2 remotely
