Overview
This position is for an Operator I in the Repligen Injection Molding manufacturing group. The Operator I position is responsible for the production, assembly, and quality inspection of both basic and complex components within our ISO 9001 qualified environment.
This position is 3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am (Sunday through Friday AM).
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and operate automated machinery.
- Read and interpret inspection drawings for visual defects.
- Sustain a clean and safe work environment while meeting expected production rates.
- Comply with all aspects of the Quality Management system and Quality Policy.
- Meet or exceed production quantities expected for each part.
- Fill out production paperwork correctly for each production job.
- Maintain records in accordance with procedures.
- Manage time for each product accordingly to ensure the project is completed on time.
- Show proper care and handling of molds and equipment to reduce downtime and broken parts.
- Demonstrate understanding of all equipment and assembly procedures for each work center.
- Acknowledge potential issues or inefficiencies and notify team leads as necessary to reduce scrap & improve processes.
- Show the ability to be a team player and maintain a positive attitude to achieve company goals.
- Use of lean manufacturing principles to improve processes within our Quality system
- Assist in other areas as required.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a production-based or manufacturing role preferred
- Assembly experience is preferred
- Cleanroom experience is a plus
- Able to stand or sit 8 plus hours
- Ability to do repetitive processes
- Able to lift, up to 40 lbs.
- Visual inspection of small and detailed parts required.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $20.00/Hr. - $21.00/Hr. inclusive of shift differential. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
