PM Group now has an opportunity for a Facilities Engineer with one of our top medical device client's based in the Kilkenny region.
Responsibilities - Responsible for projects, vendor inquires and troubleshooting of facilities and utilities systems and identify/implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Participate on capital project teams through all phases of projects.
- Responsible for Validation activities; drafting of IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and execution of same.
- Preparation of QA C&Q documentation and handover packs for site leadership, compliance and external vendor teams as appropriate.
- Will liaise with and support external vendors in handover and subsequent site activity.
- Responsible for equipment and asset testing within facilities, pre-empting and identifying technical issues.
- Working with site leadership and maintenance teams, will support the development of a maintenance plan for appropriate
preventative/corrective maintenance planning as well as shutdown planning. - Responsible for drafting and achieving approval of URSs for facility equipment and associated assets that will be fit for purpose for site personnel and external Vendor services.
- Positive collaboration with vendors and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation, Corporate Client Procedures and
- Standards by supporting EHS with necessary documentation; up to date/readily available.
- Supports EHS across facilities risk assessments and HAZOP studies.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with legislation and company technical standards regarding contractor management.
Qualifications - 5 years plus relevant experience, GMP background with experience of facilities, utilities, site and/or asset management.
- Level 7 NFQ qualification or equivalent in Engineering.
- Have excellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team.
- Demonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation.
- Strong computer MS Office skills.
- Well organised, with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices
