Overview We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support a biopharmaceutical company in Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities Responsibilities:
- To coordinate delivery of project scope with business stakeholders and facility designers on delivery of agreed scope.
- Support CAPEX director with contractor management and EHS responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with maintenance engineering function with infrastructure improvements and changes to existing systems in support of project scope
- Support and manage project and QMS change controls.
- Attend FATs for process and facility equipment involved in capital expansion projects.
- Support in the transition from construction and commissioning activities into validation team.
- URS and equipment scope development.
- Project change control management.
- Equipment design reviews and design qualification.
- Developing equipment services design and installation scopes of work.
- Managing equipment and services installation contractors on site (contractor management).
- Coordinating equipment commissioning and validation testing activities.
- Project reporting, cost monitoring, engineering system updates.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline
- GMP & Biologics industry experience essential
- Project Engineer/ Project Manager with experience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and processing projects, in a highly GMP production environment
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion
- Full project lifecycle experience from end to end design through to C&Q and handover
- Understands project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeout
- Excellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team
