We currently have a requirement for a Instrumentation and Control Engineer, for a contract role on a Client project in Cork. The position will support execution and delivery of a large CAPEX project on the site, overseeing the I&C delivery of a new production building and ancillary facilities and storage. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in Engineering project delivery and a construction environment.

Responsibilities - This role is responsible for I&C design support and coordination with the EPCMV construction management team as well as construction supervision and commisioning support
- The individual will bring their experience to resolve issues as they arise on site
- Oversee and manage I&C delivery of
- New main production building
- New Solvent Recovery and Tank Farm
- Facilities
- Support instrument equipment design within packages and ensure adherence to site instrument standards
- Responsible for quality compliance of the I&C installation and vendor packages
- Support the installation and commissioning schedule of the I+C equipment
- Responsible for consultant and vendor design schedule
- Responsible for instrumentation walkdowns as Owner Representative
- Responsible for coordinating User training. Ensure that all appropriate user personnel are fully trained on any new technology introduced as part of the project
- Manage handover of E+I CTOPsand VTOPs
- Ensure compliance with GMP and safety rules on new and existing equipment
- Attendance at select FATs.
Qualifications - Recognised Level 8 qualification in Electrical / Instrument Engineering
- Experience (3-7 years) in instrumentation design, installation and commissioning, including on projects >20MM
- Experience in walkdown, snagging and handover
- Experience working in large project teams
- Experience in healthcare and pharmaceuticals GMP environments and cleanrooms
- Experience in automation installation beneficial
- Experience in electrical design and installation beneficial
- Experience of Contractor supervision beneficial
