We now wish to recruit an Instrumentation Engineerto work on site supporting capital projects. The Instrumentation Engineer will be working as part of a multidiscipline project engineering team based in Cork..
Previous Instrumentation design and construction support experience in the Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology industry is advantageous.
Responsibilities - Instrumentation Design working as part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team.
- Provide support to fee and capital budget proposals as required.
- Assemble and manage bid, approval, and construction issue instrumentation design packages in an efficient and lean manner.
- Requires extensive and independent contact with client, vendor’s representatives and site personnel.
- Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings.
- Implement specific site and company quality & design Standards.
- Ability to manage the Co-ordination of the design team and external stakeholders.
- Ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are required to provide costs effective solutions for our clients.
Qualifications - Third Level Degree in Engineering Discipline - Applied Physics and Instrumentation or similar discipline
- 5+ years of formal experience in industrial engineering design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Professional approach and demeanour
- A strong ethical approach to safety, quality and sustainable design
- Knowledge of applicable instrumentation engineering codes, standards and current industry best practices
