As Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate resources are available to deliver projects and ensure that internal resources are developed to fit the needs of the department, with an overview of and access to external resources where appropriate.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
- Responsible for oversight of forecasting process for various facilities, maintenance and technical teams.
- Work with Procurement to develop a network of external service providers to provide resources to support the delivery of projects.
- Develop & maintain team capability, talent, skills & succession planning processes for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Design Leads.
- Work with the department leadership to own and improve cost recoveries process, in alignment with the business, ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Co-ordinate Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) involvement in Work Experience events, Careers Fairs & local community volunteering as part of GSK-sponsored programs.
- Develop and manage a process for capturing projects’ successes and communicating the added value that the business team brings to GSK and owns the processes for communicating this to internal stakeholders.
