What you'll be doing
- Sample and inspect in-process and chemical raw materials according to written procedures, ensuring flawless execution.
- Conduct packaging line and finished product inspections during operations to strictly ensure compliance with written procedures and cGMP regulations.
- Supervise the Retain Room temperature conditions and storage of retention samples according to local procedures.
- Ensure that products and materials have accurate status identification according to disposition processes.
- Sample and inspect packaging components in alignment with established procedures and specifications.
- Perform data entry of materials sampled and inspected in our computerized system with precision and accuracy.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of sampling and inspection procedures, contributing to our culture of excellence.
- Coordinate area work for continuous flow and support production under limited supervision, demonstrating your ability to successfully implement process improvements.
- Conduct comprehensive Batch Record Reviews to maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Stay in sync with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure safety requirements are met at all times.
What you'll bring
- Technical Diploma or Associate Degree, with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read and understand both English and Spanish, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Basic knowledge of cGMP regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong record-keeping skills, ensuring meticulous documentation and data accuracy.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to interpret and convert units of measure such as temperature, pressure, flow, area, mass, distance, and volume.
- Mathematical reasoning skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate percentages, and proficiency with calculators or other electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of sampling techniques, enabling you to determine the best approaches for quality assurance.
- Strong decision-making skills, information handling abilities, and an unwavering dedication to ongoing technical learning.
