How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
We are currently recruiting an energetic and motivated full-time Service Technician for our Mississauga Service Centre. The Service Technician is responsible for managing repairs internally/externally and warranty replacements. This includes, maintenance, calibration, adjustment, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic respiratory equipment according to quality control standards and manufacturers’ guidelines.
Ensures the proper assessment and repairs are completed on medical devices.
Issue price quotes, recommendation to medical devices that are owned by external clients and assets to internal groups.
Capture all activities/movement types within the ERP system including invoicing.
Manage parts and supplies according to repair volume and products, work closely with procurement to issue purchase orders on procuring parts/supplies.
Maintain annual training and certification both internally and externally through the key suppliers on air products and medical devices.
Maintain metrics on incoming and outgoing devices on repairs and labour hours allocated each month
Ensure to run daily receipt of incoming and outgoing devices through collaboration with Distribution center
Communicate to regions on repair, disposal, and price impact around devices that have reached end of life or parts not available.
Manage KPI/Metrics with respect to devices cycled through Service Center in sync with brand of product
Manage recalls in a timely manner, review regulatory changes through internal/external channels
Work closely with Service Center customer service reps to coordinate return authorizations (RMA) from branches to service centers or suppliers.

Are you a MATCH?
Here’s what you will need
College Certificate or Diploma in a Mechanical Field preferred
1-3 years’ of experience in repair, maintenance, calibration, adjustment and installation of Medical Devices, electrical, pneumatic and electronic respiratory equipment preferred
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of respiratory systems is an asset.
